Burst of Hope feels like a moment of light returning.

This painting is a continuation of my sunflower body of work that began with Sunflower Soul, but with a new sense of confidence, brightness, and possibility. By this point in my creative journey, I felt more comfortable with my materials and enjoyed watching the colors, movement, and layers come together.

I created this during a season when life was beginning to feel a little lighter. After carrying a lot of uncertainty, there was finally room to breathe and believe that things could get better.

The movement in this piece feels like hope bursting outward. It reminds me that hope does not always come when everything is perfect. Sometimes it grows while life is still unfolding.

For me, Burst of Hope represents hope, possibility, and relief. 🌻
