Coastal Currents is my abstract depiction of ocean tides meeting the sandy shoreline, created using gravity and breathwork techniques. I painted this piece intuitively, letting the paint flow like living water across the canvas to mimic the swirling blues of the ocean meeting warm golden sands.
This painting feels to me like the gentle rush of waves pulling back into deeper waters, leaving rippling reflections behind. While I may add further embellishments in the future, it already carries a tranquil, calming energy that I hope connects anyone who views it to the beauty of God’s creation.
