Crimson Struggle

Crimson Struggle is a fierce outpouring of raw emotion, born from a moment of frustration, heat, and uncontainable intensity. I began this piece determined to express my anger and overwhelm through bold reds and blacks, pouring my emotions onto the canvas in thick, heavy layers.

When the paint refused to flow as I expected, I asked my strong husband to help me tilt and stretch the dense liquid across the massive 5-foot-wide surface. Together we wrestled the canvas into submission, creating rippling waves of fiery reds and deep blacks, accented by metallic splatters and intentional breathwork embellishments. The result is a visceral landscape of struggle and strength—a testament to pushing through when nothing goes as planned.

Crimson Struggle is my reminder that even in chaos, beauty is born when we keep moving forward, no matter how heavy the weight.
