Desire Ignited feels like a painting about what happens when healing starts to overflow.

I created this during a season when I realized I wasn't making art simply to survive what I was going through anymore. There was more joy. More gratitude. More room to look beyond myself.

I kept thinking about sunflowers and the way they can turn toward one another when there is no sun. I loved the idea that we can do the same thing—that when we have light to give, we can turn toward each other and help remind one another where the light is.

The fiery yellows, oranges, reds, and deep blues in this painting feel passionate and alive to me. They remind me of gratitude becoming something active instead of something I simply hold inside.

Desire Ignited represents that shift from surviving to living. From gratitude to generosity. From finding light for yourself to wanting to share it with someone else.

For me, Desire Ignited represents passion, gratitude, and encouragement. 🔥🌻
