Dynamic Sunflower

12” x 12” | Acrylic on stretched canvas | Varnished | SOLD

Dynamic Sunflower was one of those paintings where something finally clicked for me.

I was experimenting, playing, and following my instincts, continuing to work until something felt right. With this piece, I remember having that little aha moment where I knew I had found something I wanted to keep exploring.

I actually named this painting through a conversation with my audience. I had shared it online because I couldn’t figure out what to call it, and a fellow artist I respected described it as a dynamic sunflower. At the time, I was still learning to see myself as a “real artist,” so having another artist engage seriously with my work meant a lot to me.

This painting gave me confidence in my creative instincts and became a starting point for many of the sunflower paintings I created afterward.

For me, Dynamic Sunflower represents breakthrough, confidence, and momentum. 🌻
