This is the very first painting in the Mystery in the Mess collection — the beginning of a journey into wild surrender. In She Navigates the Beautiful Unknown, chaos and beauty collide in a kaleidoscope of rich reds, molten copper, glowing purples, emerald greens, and electric turquoise. Like a spiritual map written in color, this piece embodies the courage it takes to move forward when you can’t see what’s ahead, only feel the pull of faith.

Created without a paintbrush, the movement in this piece was formed through breathwork, gravity, a spinning turntable, and the intuitive guidance of palette knives and edge tools. Every swirl, ripple, and fracture was unplanned, yet somehow exactly what was meant to emerge.

This piece marks the moment I chose to trust the process, trust the Lord, and trust myself - even when everything felt uncertain. It reminds us that some of the most beautiful paths are the ones we could never have imagined on our own.
