Radiant Anyway is a painting that started simply. I was having fun with color, watching the yellow, orange, blue, and black come together into this bold, sunflowery shape.

But when I think about the season when I created it, the painting means so much more to me.

I was going through a time when I was learning my worth, creating boundaries, raising my standards, and becoming more intentional about where I gave my energy. I had to rely heavily on my faith while learning to trust the strength and gifts God had already placed inside me.

When I look at this sunflower now, I see something bright and bold surrounded by darkness, but refusing to dim itself.

I am still here. I am still becoming. And I am going to prevail with a smile.

For me, Radiant Anyway represents radiance, resolve, and worth. 🌻

Inspired by Philippians 4:13 NIV: “I can do all this through him who gives me strength.”
