Spirit Splash
Spirit Splash
Spirit Splash was one of the first paintings I ever made using my leaf blower—and wow, what a wild day that was. It was sweltering hot, my brain was foggy from the heat, and I honestly didn’t have the energy to overthink anything. That’s when I let go completely and let my intuition take the lead.
I grabbed the blower and just started moving—letting my breath and the power of the tool push turquoise and aqua tones across the canvas. The shapes that formed felt like water coming to life—refreshing, calm, and free. It was like the Spirit was moving through me, inviting me to let go of perfection and just play.
This piece is all about trusting the process. Letting the Spirit guide. Creating not from control, but from surrender. That’s when the real beauty shows up.
“But it is the spirit in a person, the breath of the Almighty, that gives them understanding.” — Job 32:8
