A little sunflower with a spiral twist.

Spyro Bloom was created using a custom-blended acrylic pour, spinner-table techniques, breathwork, and paintbrush detailing. While the paint was still moving on the spinner table, I used the back of my paintbrush to carve a loose spiral pattern into the center of the flower.

Those swirling lines immediately took me back to childhood afternoons at my grandma’s kitchen table, playing with a Spirograph.

That connection is what makes this piece special to me. It reminds me of the simple joy of making something, watching a pattern emerge, and being curious about what might happen next.

Nostalgia. Curiosity. Delight.

Spyro Bloom belongs in the WONDER realm because it reconnects me with that childlike curiosity and the joy of discovering something beautiful just by playing.
