What happens when you take a chance on yourself before you’re completely sure you’re ready? 🌻

Sunflower Soul was the first original painting I ever sold.

I created it during a season when I was really focused on personal growth and learning to challenge the ceilings I had placed over my own life.

Someone bought it.

That moment gave me so much more than a sale. It gave me permission to start seeing myself differently — as an artist whose work could hold real value for someone else.

And the joy kept multiplying. Sunflower Soul became my best-selling print, and eventually I put the artwork on a shirt that I wore while face painting. I loved literally wrapping myself in a reminder of what happened when I took a chance on myself.

For me, this painting represents growth, light, joy, connection, and becoming more fully who I am.

That’s why Sunflower Soul feels like the natural beginning of GROW.
