This painting was born from an experiment that quickly became something far greater. I set out to create a simple sunrise or sunset burst, layering my colors to test how they would flow. But as I spun and tilted the canvas, the paints overtook everything in their path, exploding into a mighty blaze of gold, yellow, orange, and fiery red.
