Unexpected Glory

This painting was born from an experiment that quickly became something far greater. I set out to create a simple sunrise or sunset burst, layering my colors to test how they would flow. But as I spun and tilted the canvas, the paints overtook everything in their path, exploding into a mighty blaze of gold, yellow, orange, and fiery red.

Unexpected Glory reminds me of the moments when God does immeasurably more than I ask or imagine. It speaks to the beauty of surrendering my plans and watching Him create something more radiant than I ever intended. This piece feels like praise embodied - bold, uncontainable, and ablaze with light.
